Job Description
• Software: Lotus Domino Server, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Office Professional Applications
• Hardware: Desktop/Laptop support, Server hardware support, Cisco Switches/Router/Firewall support, Familiar with Video Conferencing equipment, Familiar with PABX and telephonic equipment, Network design and cabling skills
• Troubleshoot system, network problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software faults
• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Regularly monitor alerts/logs generated from IT Equipment’s / Applications
• Perform regular backups according to best practices as established in policies and procedures
• Perform numerous security checks to determine if the website is vulnerable to attack
• Domino Mail Server administration (create new user, rectify users, compact NSF databases, replication of mailboxes, and account relocation among affiliates)
• Create a topology map on servers, network, switches, routers, etc…
• Provide recommendations for improvements and documentation of changes
• Set up intranets or network systems within a company and configure routers and servers
• Manage the specification, purchase and installation of all new computer hardware and software for the network.
• Administrate backup process via TSM and ensure the stability of automatic daily backup on tape library device
• Manage all such equipment so as to provide for efficient and reliable operation at a reasonable maintenance cost.
• Develop a process for backup operations and disaster recovery on all data collection devices so as to guarantee the integrity of archive and online files for all users.
• Develop and maintain a process for ensuring system integrity and security from unauthorized users as well as virus contamination.
• Develop and maintain a process to ensure compliance with the Internet and E-mail use Policy.
• Develop and present training on new hardware and software for the end users.
• Communicate effectively and courteously with department heads, employees and public.
